List of invoices
This quick guide shows you how to invoice for work that you have completed on the Exfluency™ platform.
First, click My Company in the left menu.
Next, click the Billing tab.
Fill out all relevant fields, saving your changes as you complete each section.
An invoice is automatically generated once a month when the Minimum Invoiceable Amount on your Company, Billing tab is equalled or exceeded. The minimum invoiceable amount is EUR 5. You’re welcome to increase this amount. If the amount is not equalled or exceeded, the amount will roll into the next month. For fiscal reasons, an automated invoice will always be generated in December irrespective of the minimum invoiceable amount.
Finally, click one of the blue buttons at the bottom to specify your preferred billing method and enter your payment details.
Next, click the Invoices tab.
You’ll now see a list of the invoices that the platform has generated from your completed projects.
Invoices for all projects (including test projects) are generated on the first day of a month, for all projects completed during the previous month. If the minimum invoiceable amount has not been equalled or exceeded, your invoice will not be generated. The amount will roll on to the next month.
Confirming your earnings
To check which projects relate to an invoice, click the Earnings tab.
Enter the start and end dates that match the invoice period.
If you have any questions regarding an invoice, please reach out via the support form.
Accepting the invoice
To accept the invoice, click the Invoices tab and then the Confirm button for the invoice.
You can now save a copy of your invoice for your records using the Download PDF button.
The automatic payment process will now begin.
N.B.
-
The invoice should be accepted within 7 days of being generated.
-
After this time, all accepted invoices are sent for payment.
-
All invoices accepted after this time will be transferred to payment with the next package next month.
- Our payment terms are 21 days NET.
- We recommend reading the FAQ on invoicing.
Administration costs
Exfluency will cover transaction fees on our side but will not reimburse any bank fees incurred by the freelancer.
How examination projects are paid and invoiced
Examination projects are always paid half of the hourly rate for the specific language pair and skills.
If you declare EUR 20 as your hourly rate for translating English into German scientific articles in My Skills tab, you will be paid EUR 10 for a test project of this language pair and skill set node.
Projects that cost EUR 0 do not appear on the invoice.
Test Mode jobs will not use recycling - Exfluencer will always receive "fresh", machine translated text.
All assets generated during this job will be recycled further.
